We at Cornerstone feel that one of the most important things people look for is a friendly, caring atmosphere. This year, I especially felt that among the various people of interest to the Church and its position increases. At various conferences and meetings, people want to see the clergy, to join with them in the discussion. And everywhere are asked questions on different topics. Sometimes it seems that the priest should know about everything. This growth of interest in the Church, of course, can be associated with the advent of a new Primate, which sets the tone for an active dialogue with the public in an understandable language for most people.

I lived from the year remains the impression that only now begins the real discovery of the Church people. Church revival passed since the early 90's, it was gaining ground, but only now reached the point that it concerns the underlying foundations of the revival of public and private life. Church ceases to be regarded as some beautiful cultural tradition that we lost in Soviet times, and now we have to recreate some of its elements.
