There are two concepts of the Church. Understanding the Church as a spiritual organism, in which a person can enter only a righteous life. And another thing - the Church as an external organization to which he may enter, being baptized. No need to confuse these concepts.

Church - not an administrative institution and not even just a collection of co-religionists. This two thousand years of spiritual tradition, built on real experiences of spiritual and moral life.

Most of the insoluble contradictions of life, misery, domestic difficulties, of which you hear in the confessional, is because people live outside the church, and seek resolution of their difficulties come to church. No commitment to change his life, nor even thought about it - so the Church is powerless to help them.
